Erin and Dan put alot of time and thought into their wedding. They had some particulars to make the day special and unique to them as a couple. I was their Hudson Valley wedding DJ and I was involved in their music from their wedding ceremony, cocktails and the reception of course.
I met Erin at A bridal show and we clicked right away. she wanted an unobtrusive style music DJ, Non-Cheesy DJ, Classy wedding DJ. These were the descriptive terms. Well that is me! I had no problem fitting in to their wedding plans!
The wedding ceremony was classy and fun. Erin walked down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary, so it gave that classy touch. The recessional song was Star wars throne room, took everyone by surprise! The next day was star Wars Day, I didn’t even know!
It was a very special day, with many personal touches. Thanks to Hillary Harvey for capturing the story here!
The party was really cool. Dinner was filled with a bunch of eclectic music to satisfy Dan’s tastes. He loves The Police, Van Morrison, Tears for Fears, classic rock. Their first Dance was Your My Best Friend by Queen! Dan and his mother kicked of the party with their mother son song What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong and then transitioned into Happy by Pharrell and had everyone join in! Great Party it was!
